Formerly a registered nurse and violinist in semi-professional orchestras, Sydell Voeller now writes and teaches writing for the Long Ridge Writers Group. She has had twelve novels published previously. The Fisherman's Daughter, also published by Hard Shell Word Factory, was her first published e-book. Many of her stories are set in the Pacific Northwest and reflect her love of the forests, mountains, waterways, and beaches. Her hobbies include camping, reading, water exercise, playing with her cat, and amateur astronomy. Sydell resides in Forest Grove, Oregon with her husband of 33 years. They have two grown sons.
