I donít know when I first became a writer, but Iíve always been a storyteller, says Margaret Brownley, who admits she was constantly in trouble as a child for daydreaming and making-up stories. Her romantic nature became evident at a very young age. She once told her first-grade teacher that a handsome man with "startled" eyes stole her homework. At the age of seven, she thought the word "startled" meant starry-eyed.
Margaret Brownley has written over 200 magazine articles and twenty books. Among her publishers are Topaz, Harlequin and St. Martinís Press and her novels have been published in fourteen languages. She also sold a two-year story projection to a CBS soap. Happily married to her real-life hero, Margaret and her husband live in Southern California.
